He has a proven track record in franchising, retail service businesses, and real estate. He was a senior level executive in the IT industry for over 20 years and worked for companies in computer distribution, reselling computers and services, e-commerce and software companies.

Franchising: Extensive franchise sales and operations experience in the Inacomp Computer Centers franchise system. As president of Inacomp America, built a 600 unit franchise and computer dealer network. Developed franchisee marketing, sales and operational programs for Inacomp. Worked with major companies in the computer industry such as IBM, H/P and Apple Computer.
Retail: Set up, opened and managed a 20,000 square foot retail and warehouse for Inacomp Computer Centers. Grew sales to over $15 million. Founding team member of subsidiary, Computer City, one of the first computer superstore chains. Managed Jouvence Aveda Salons and Spas, a multi-location salon and day spa with heavy retail presence.
E-Commerce: Spent over six years as a CEO and COO of two e-commerce companies respectively, Technology Net, Inc. and eDeposit Corporation. Oversaw all aspects of the operations including sales, marketing, management and software product development.
Real Estate: Founded and operated Community Management Company, a property management company representing 6,000 condominiums. Former licensed real estate broker in Michigan.
Small Business: Founded and participated in the management of five small businesses.
Corporate: Eleven years experience in the high tech retail and business-to-business formats. Richard was a senior executive and reported to the CEO of a private computer and franchise organization that went public and became a $3 billion company before being purchased by Compaq Computer Corporation. Revenue growth during his tenure went from $25 million to $1.5 billion.
Business Development and Acquisition: Helped raise $12 million in venture capital for TechnologyNet, Inc. and over $1 million for a retail computer start-up.
Industry Chairman: Served as the elected, volunteer Chairman of CompTIA, one of the largest national computer trade associations.
